This property is amazing, it has it all! It's a beautifuly spacious 1800's renovation with a wood burner, open plan kitchen/living room and it's in such a lovely location. We initially booked for 1 week but fell in love so booked an additional week. Big bonus you are delivered fresh eggs in the mornings! Richard & Bairbre are the most amazing hosts, will do anything for you. highly recommend!!

A friend and I had a lovely quiet "retreat" and wish we could have stayed longer. The upstairs of the loft is really special (and warm!) It got the sun from morning to evening on the first day and an amazing star-filled sky that evening.

The location & animals were just what we were looking for. The village is walking distance and has great takeaway options + two convenience stores.

Marianne Cottage was a wonderful getaway from Dublin for the four of use before the kids are due to go back to school after the Christmas break.
The wood-burning stove really got the place lovely and warm and cosy (especially having it lit for us before our arrival).
Bairbre was great in providing local information for where to go and what to do, while Richard gave us all the insights to the farming side of things.
We would definitely recommend this property, and would love to return at some point.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay in Marianne Cottage. It's a beautiful place with quirky interiors and a wood burner that's great to relax in front of. The double bed was one of the comfiest night's sleep we've ever had. Great amenities with shops not even 10 minutes away on foot and Bairbre and Richard were on call via text if we needed them. We can't recommend this beautiful cottage enough, we will definitely be returning again very soon :)

The cottage was beautiful. Lots of lovely touches my kids really enjoyed. Ring toss was a hit all evening :) Bairbre was very welcoming and had a roaring fire waiting for us on arrival. The place was immaculately clean and cozy. We will defo stay here again if we do Santa at Causey farm next year.

Highly recommended! It was short but lovely stay and we will definitely come back with larger group ! The loft has a soul like no other places we've visited, very clean, have all amenities you might need, very quiet area, amazing place to have a break from the city rush. thank you !

Myself and a group of friends stayed in Richard and Bairbre's beautiful converted barn while attending a friend's wedding in the nearby Clonabreany house and we were so happy we did. The decor was beautiful really quirky and cool, and there were some lovely personal touches to help us feel right at home. Bairbre was always quick to respond to messages and gave us lots of helpful information about the area and about taxis etc. I would 100% recommend staying here if you are in the area and looking for a cosy "home away from home"!

Bairbre was so helpful from when we arrived until we left a few days later. Communication was never a problem & she was so knowledgeable about the areas around the cottage for things to do & places to see. There is a little village just a short walk away & it's a lovely area. The cottage itself was roomy & airy & it had everything you could possibly want or need for your stay. The bedlinen & towels were clean & fresh & there was always hot water. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bairbre & Richard as hosts. Thank you again for a lovely stay!
